Its AI Tracker follows the prompts your buyers ask in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, and shows where AI models mention and cite your brand, where they recommend competitors instead and how they describe you, with a visibility score, mention gaps and brand sentiment. To act on those gaps, the Content Editor gives real-time, competition-based writing guidelines built on more than 500 web and AI signals, with a Content Score, the Surfy AI writing assistant, 1-click optimization and internal linking, brand knowledge and custom voices. Content Audit tracks your pages, alerts you to ranking drops and suggests pages worth refreshing, while Topical Map, keyword research, a SERP analyzer and a cannibalization report help plan content clusters. Surfer works in WordPress, Google Docs, Contentful, Jasper and ChatGPT, has a Zapier app that runs on the Surfer API, and offers an MCP server that brings live Surfer data into ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants. New accounts get a 7-day free trial of the Pro plan; you choose a plan and enter a card at sign-up, and the trial converts to that plan unless you cancel. Discovery costs $49 a month billed yearly or $59 monthly for content optimization with 120 documents, Standard costs $99 yearly or $119 monthly and adds weekly tracking of 25 ChatGPT prompts, Pro costs $182 yearly or $219 monthly with 50 prompts tracked daily across all models, and Peace of Mind costs $299 yearly or $359 monthly with 100 prompts, unlimited documents and API access. A tracking-only AI Search Analytics plan costs $82 a month billed yearly, and Enterprise is custom.
