About the tool

CodingPass is a model gateway for AI coding agents, run by Newrate LLC. Instead of paying each AI vendor's API directly, you buy one monthly pass, point your agent at the CodingPass base URL and use a single CodingPass key. It accepts both Anthropic-style and OpenAI-compatible requests, and its setup guides cover Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Cline, Cursor, Windsurf, Aider and Zed. It is an independent service and is not run by the model vendors. Each plan has a flagship model and gives every included model its own monthly allowance in dollars, metered at the vendor's official API list prices. Go centres on Claude Sonnet 5.5 and also includes Claude Haiku 5.5, GPT-6.1 Terra, Gemini 4 Argon, Gemini 3.8 Flash, Grok 4.7 and 8 open-weight models such as Kimi K3 and DeepSeek V4.1 Flash. Plus adds Claude Opus 5.5 and GPT-6.1 Sol, and Pro adds Claude Fable 5.1, for 17 models in total. No week can use more than half of a model's allowance and no 5-hour window more than a sixth; at a cap that model returns HTTP 429 with the reset time while other models keep working. The site says it logs request metadata only, not prompts, code or outputs, and every response carries a request ID. Go costs $20 a month or $200 a year, Plus $40 a month or $400 a year, and Pro $100 a month or $1,000 a year. Members who join by December 25, 2026 get Go at $10 and Plus at $30 a month, locked while they stay subscribed. Allowances do not roll over, and pay-as-you-go beyond the pass is off unless you turn it on. You can cancel at any time, and a payment is refunded in full if you used 5% or less of the allowance. It suits developers who use several coding agents and models and want one bill with fixed limits.
