About the tool

Teebots is a free desktop app that runs a small team of named AI bots on your own computer, on macOS, Windows or Linux. It is aimed at independent developers, one-person companies and creators who already hold model API keys and want work to stay on their machine. No login is required: requests made with your own key go directly to the model provider, while chats, memory, files and browser sign-ins remain local. Bots work together in a group chat. You @ a bot to assign a job, a bot can hand the next step to another, and an unsure bot asks through a choice card. Each bot can use its own model, including Claude, OpenAI, DeepSeek, Kimi, any OpenAI-compatible endpoint or a local model, with a fallback if the main model fails. Bots keep private memory, read and write files in their own folder, run commands, use skills including MCP, and control their own browser, stopping for confirmation before submitting a form, paying or entering a password. Daily, weekday or weekly jobs keep running from the menu bar after the window closes. The app itself is free, and model usage is billed by your provider through your own key. No paid plans are listed. API keys are stored unencrypted on your computer in this version, and the command tool is not sandboxed, although sensitive commands wait for your confirmation unless full access is turned on. There is no iOS or Android app yet.
